I hope everyone has had a fantastic break over Christmas and New Year!
2024 is shaping up to be an exciting year and I can’t wait to get back to advocating for the big issues in our community.
This year I will be continuing to push for more childcare in our region. We need more investment to increase the availability of this essential service so that our families have all the support they need to get back to work.
Sadly, our regional health services are also in desperate need of more attention. Whether it be maternal health, our local GP clinics, in-home care, or family violence assistance – more support and funding are essential to improving health outcomes for our community in the New Year.
On a lighter note, there are some exciting events coming up throughout the year which I can’t wait to attend.
We will be kicking off our inaugural Euroa Electorate bowling tournament at Parliament House this year, and I am also so excited to invite our school leaders to Parliament during the year.
I can’t wait to see our little advocates continue to grow and fight for our regional communities in the future!
Whatever this new year has in store, know that we are all in it together.
