Local families can now apply for assistance through the Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund (CSEF), which opened today, 27 January.
Member for Euroa Annabelle Cleeland MP said the Fund provides important support for eligible families to help cover the cost of school camps, sporting programs and excursions.
“School camps, sporting activities and excursions are an important part of a child’s education, but for many families the cost can be a real challenge,” Ms Cleeland said.
“This support helps ensure that financial pressure doesn’t prevent students from taking part in these experiences alongside their classmates.”
Once open, eligible families will be able to apply through their child’s school, with funding paid directly to schools to support participation in approved activities.

Ms Cleeland encouraged parents and carers to check their eligibility now and speak with their child’s school if they have questions.
“With ongoing cost-of-living pressures, programs like this can make a real difference for families,” she said.
