The office of newly elected Nationals MP, Annabelle Cleeland, has opened as of Wednesday 11 January at 25 Bridge St, Benalla after a handover from Parliament of Victoria staff.
The location is the same as the previous Member for Euroa Steph Ryan’s office.
Ms Cleeland’s office will be staffed by a team of locals to support individuals and businesses needing assistance with government matters.
Ms Cleeland said the office will be an important point of contact for people across the electorate of Euroa.
“It’s great to finally have our physical office space up and running, providing an important resource to the community,” Ms Cleeland said.
“My team will be here from 9 to 5 Monday to Friday ready to lend a hand and an ear with any issues locals are having.”
Staff at the office are available to assist members of the community with government related matters.
“Negotiating government processes and bureaucracy can be a huge challenge. It’s important people have a place they can confidentially seek support and receive assistance,” Ms Cleeland said.
“Often people simply don’t know where to start but my team and I will be on deck to assist, even if it just requires a point in the right direction, no matter is too big or small.”
Ms Cleeland said there are a range of ways to get in touch with her and make your voice heard.
“I’ll be a regular presence at the office and can’t wait to meet more amazing members of our community, but I know Benalla isn’t the most central town in our electorate,” Ms Cleeland said.
“I will be a regular presence in towns across our region so please feel free to come up to me, say hello and raise any concerns you have directly.
“In addition to the physical office I can be contacted at any time via email at Annabelle.cleeland@parliament.vic.gov.au or via phone on (03) 57621600.
“I’m determined to ensure our region has a strong elected voice and I’m looking forward to the next four years of passionate community advocacy.”
