Dear Editor,
With the school year fast approaching, I’d like to take the chance to wish students, staff, and families the very best for the 2023 school year.
School gates across our region will bear witness to the full spectrum of emotions, from excited Foundation/Prep students to emotional parents grappling with the pace of children growing up.
I am excited for our determined Year 12 students who are no doubt ambitiously ready to complete 13 years of schooling with dedication and an eye to the world outside of school.
Our local schools offer so many great extra circular activities including a huge range of sports, school camps and artistic pursuits. I encourage everyone to get involved and enjoy every opportunity provided.
To our amazing staff, I hope the holidays have been refreshing and the upcoming year is fulfilling and that you feel appreciated for the guidance, support and encouragement you contribute to our children’s lives.
I look forward to visiting schools across our region and meeting the future leaders of our beautiful part of Victoria.
