Several local sporting clubs across the region are set to benefit from the latest round of the Victorian Sporting Club Grants Program.
The Nationals’ Member for Euroa, Annabelle Cleeland, said she was thrilled to see 16 clubs from the electorate among the hundreds of successful recipients in round two of the program.
“It’s fantastic to have such a diverse mix of sporting groups and towns represented,” Ms Cleeland said.
“Sport is at the heart of so many of our regional communities. It brings people together, supports physical and mental health, and provides an outlet for young people to thrive.”

This latest round builds on a strong local showing in the first round of the program earlier this year.
For most clubs, the funding will go towards on-field uniforms and essential equipment. Others will use the support to strengthen volunteer and officiating programs or improve accessibility for members.
Ms Cleeland congratulated the successful clubs and praised their dedication to their communities.
“These grants are a real win for local sport,” Ms Cleeland said.
“With the cost of living continuing to rise, anything that helps reduce barriers to participation is welcome.
“This investment will boost engagement across our regional clubs and help ensure sport remains accessible and inclusive for everyone.”
