Nationals Member for Euroa Annabelle Cleeland’s office in Benalla will be assisting locals interested in adding their driver’s license to their phone.
“We know the rollout of this system has not made things easy for many of our older residents, or those without computers, so I am helping to make sure that no one interested will miss out,” Ms Cleeland said.
“If you need assistance, bring your phone, your physical license and another form of ID, like a Medicare card, to my electorate office at 25 Bridge Street East, Benalla and my team will be happy to help.
“Having a digital copy of your license can be a convenient way to prove your right to drive, confirm your identities at hotels or other retailers, or demonstrate that you’re over 18 years old when entering licensed venues.
The digital license is currently only available for those with a full license holders, and for many of those in the community wanting to stick to their physical license, this digital license is completely optional.
Ms Cleeland’s office will be open Monday-Friday, from 9am-4pm for anyone needing assistance with this, or any other concern they may have.
