Sporting club grants now open
The Nationals, Member for Euroa Annabelle Cleeland MP is encouraging local sporting clubs in the region to apply for the Victorian Government’s Sporting Club Grants Program, which is now open.
This program provides vital funding to help grassroots clubs continue their important work in our communities.
The grants can support clubs to purchase uniforms and equipment, develop volunteers and officials, host community events, improve governance, and create more opportunities for people of all ages to participate in sport.
“Sporting clubs are at the heart of our towns and communities,” Ms Cleeland said
“They bring people together, keep us active, and provide opportunities for our young people and volunteers to learn new skills. These grants give clubs the support they need to continue providing these important programs locally.”
Key details:
- Applications close: 4 pm, Tuesday 7 April 2026
- Who can apply: Not-for-profit community sporting clubs and organisations operating in Victoria
- Funding categories: Equipment and uniforms, volunteers and officials, access and events, travel, and governance and engagement
Local clubs are encouraged to submit their applications early to ensure all documents are completed before the closing date.
“I urge every eligible club in Euroa to take advantage of this funding. Even a small grant can make a big difference, whether it’s buying new equipment or supporting volunteers who give up their time to make our community clubs thrive,” Ms Cleeland said.
