Western AG has officially opened its Benalla store, offering a range of primary industry services from agronomic and livestock management advice to crop and pasture protection products.
Local MP Annabelle Cleeland attended as guest speaker and spoke about the important role agriculture plays in the North-East economy.
“The opening of a Western AG shop front in Benalla is a massive win for the local economy,” Ms Cleeland said.
“The agricultural economy is incredibly strong across the region and it’s great to see another ag services player in the field locally.
“This shows great confidence in the community and the growth opportunities in the area.
“Our farmers and primary industry workers will benefit from yet another quality provider of ag services and products in Benalla.”
Branch manager Katrina Ridgway said the shop front would provide a broad range of services to the ag community.
“We are hoping the community will see Western AG as a one stop shop for their ag service needs,” Ms Ridgway said.
“We pride ourselves on delivering quality products and services with knowledge, commitment, reliability and innovation.
“It would be great to see our local ag workers pop in and make yourselves known to our friendly team.
“We are so excited to bring Western AG to Benalla and make ourselves a big part of the great Benalla community.”
